The Governor just declared a state of emergency. Therefore, TAV is cancelling its contract for the Legislative Conference that was scheduled for 1/25/26 to 1/27/26.

 

If you used the room block link to book your hotel room, your room reservation will be cancelled this afternoon when TAV cancels its contract. If you did not use the room reservation link, then you must call the hotel to cancel the reservation. If your reservation starts on Sunday night 1/25/26, you have until noon Friday 1/23/26, to cancel your reservation without penalty. If you made reservations at hotels other than the Omni, please contact them directly to cancel your reservation.

 

Since this conference has been cancelled, it will be incumbent upon each TAV member to lobby their representatives in the General Assembly independently. Each member’s lobbying efforts are absolutely pivotal to TAV’s success during this legislative session. We have several very important legislative initiatives this year.
